"Shruti started band in fourth grade playing the Clarinet with most agonizing tone until they switched to the superior Tenor Saxophone except for the one time they fled in as a Bari. In that time they have grown to appreciate all that music has done for them in helping expressing their creativity and make amazing connections along the way. They have been a part of several ensembles over the years and fulfilled the role of Co-Saxophone Section Leader this year. The time spent with the Saxophone section is time they will cherish forever. In the fall they plan on attending the University of Washington to major in microbiology and one day go into scientific research or public policy, and probably keeping music in their life one way or another. They cannot thank their parents and friends enough for their immense support during this journey."

In that time they have grown to appreciate all that music has done for them in helping expressing their creativity and make amazing connections along the way. They have been a part of several ensembles over the years and fulfilled the role of Co-Saxophone Section Leader this year. The time spent with the Saxophone section is time they will cherish forever. In the fall they plan on attending the University of Washington to major in microbiology and one day go into scientific research or public policy, and probably keeping music in their life one way or another. They cannot thank their parents and friends enough for their immense support during this journey."

"Serena began flute in third grade, and has since played in Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, and SYSO. "Owen wants to thank the people who made his journey through band unforgettable. He is especially grateful to his mother for showing up to every concert, for every late-night drive home, and for every moment in between. She witnessed his growth from a nervous kid just learning his first notes to the musician he is today. Even when the path was uncertain, she stood by him without hesitation. Her presence gave him the space to dream and the courage to keep going. He carries every one of those moments with him.

To his friends, thank you for being part of the ride. Above all, Owen wants to thank Adarsh, Aidan, and Luke for being more than just close friends, they've been like brothers. Their constant support, both in music and in life, helped shape his confidence and passion. Without them, he wouldn't be chasing this path.

In college, Noel will be studying computer engineering at the University of Washington, where he hopes to continue playing trumpet. He appreciates having his parents, brother, and friends to guide him along in his musical journey."

He is honored to have served as Drum Major this year and as Band Council Vice President last year. He has played in all the RHS groups you can name, from Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band/Choir, Pep/Marching Band, Mustang Symphony, Pit Orchestra, and Percussion Ensemble.

Next year, Luke will be attending the University of Southern California, where he will study applied math. He hopes to participate in music ensembles during his time there. Fight On!

Luke would like to thank his parents, siblings, and friends for their continuous support throughout high school, as
well as a special thanks to all the percussionists in the back for creating some of the best memories in his life. He would also like to thank Eds for stepping into this position and breathing life back into this program."

As the current section leader in the wind ensemble, Krishna demonstrates musical proficiency. His musical journey extends beyond the school band, with three years of experience playing in Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra A dedicated soloist as well, Krishna has consistently participated in the solo & ensemble competition for the past four years. Krishna will be pursuing Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he plans to continue his clarinet performance, both individually and within an orchestral setting."
